Actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo (who plays the live-action Sabine Wren) shared a heartfelt Instagram post, featuring a behind-the-scenes moment with a major Star Wars tease. The image also marked the end of her work on season 2.

“And as for this journey… it only gets more epic” Bordizzo captioned the picture, which was posted to her Instagram story and features the silhouette of her as Sabine beside Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano, identifiable by those distinctive pointy lekku.

If you look closely, you might spot a major Easter egg for the Mortis gods. The Ahsoka Season 1 finale left a host of fascinating concepts on the table, although one of the most compelling was the return of the Mortis Gods. The Mortis Gods first appeared in a compelling arc on Star Wars: The Clone Wars, when Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Ahsoka travel to Mortis to investigate an ancient distress signal. The gods are essentially physical embodiments of the aspects of the Force; the Daughter represents the light side, the Son represents the dark side, and the Father represents the balance between them. Despite their deaths in that arc, season 1 definitely set up their return.

Season 2 continues the story of the titular Jedi and Sabine Wren after they unexpectedly get trapped on the planet of Peridea, a world in a separate galaxy connected to the Mortis Gods and a new home for the native Nightsisters. It also reportedly will include Baylan Skoll‘s search for more power. Skoll was on the hunt for the Mortis Gods and was shown atop a statue of the Father in the season 1 finale. For those unfamiliar, Rory McCann is taking over as Baylan following the unexpected death of actor Ray Stevenson.

A premiere date for Season 2 has not yet been announced. The first season, meanwhile, is available to watch on Disney+ streaming service.

May the Force be with you…
