The actress said:
“You know, I’m not sure what I can say, other than I’m in this season a bit more, which is fun. I’m definitely in on the action, as you say, quite a bit more, which was great to have a Hera really, kind of like, you know, getting some stuff done. So yeah, I honestly, I’m not gonna say much more than that, just because I’ve not [been] given my guidelines yet. So I’m gonna leave it at that. But it was so much fun. I just finished it, and it was an absolute blast. I loved every minute of it. So I can’t wait for people to see it.”

The actress’s comments suggest that the beloved Twi’lek pilot will finally step out of the shadows and take a more action packed role in the series’ main conflicts. With the confirmation that Hera will be “in on the action” much more, fans can expect to see her transition from a strategist behind the scenes character. This could mean a greater involvement in helping Ahsoka’s mission to track down Grand Admiral Thrawn.
While there is currently no official release date for Ahsoka season 2 at the time of this article’s publication, it has been speculated that the new season will hit Disney+ after the release of the upcoming Star Wars spinoff film, The Mandalorian and Grogu, in 2026.
Hopefully, from here on out, we’ll continue to get even more positive news on Ahsoka throughout the year.
May the Force be with you…
